Join us at the next Moriches Bay in the kNOw community prevention coalition meeting! Monday, Oct. 5th at 7pm in the Center Moriches HS library.
Come learn about the ways community members are working together to help prevent teen substance use in our communities, and how you can be a part of the solution!
We will also have a special presentation from Steered Straight, a group of young adults who are committed to providing real-life, motivational messages to MS and HS students about substance use and abuse, gang involvement, and bullying. Steered Straight’s presenters are ex-offenders who deliver a positive and powerful message of taking responsibility for choices made and the eventual consequences of those choices.
