Holiday Outreach

The 2025 Holiday Outreach Season has Concluded! Thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s event a huge success!

This holiday season, some of our neighbors will find themselves in the unimaginable position of not being able to provide Christmas for their families. Fortunately, we have generous folks like you who step up to help!

The holiday season should be a time of joy, but for some local families, it can bring unimaginable challenges. The Moriches Community Center, with the help of generous neighbors, steps in to make sure no family is left behind. Each year, thanks to food drives organized by Center Moriches School District’s Student Council and faculty, along with turkeys generously donated by Rico’s Clothing and collaboration with the School’s Guidance Department, the MCC is able to provide full Thanksgiving meals to dozens of local families in need. During December, our beloved Santa’s Workshop brings the community together as volunteers “adopt” families, shop for gifts, and provide food and essential household items. This ensures every child can enjoy the season of giving as it was intended to be, and that every family feels supported during the holidays. None of this would be possible without the incredible generosity of our schools, businesses, and community members. This year, Santa’s Workshop’s annual wrapping will be held at the MCC building on December 13 , at 9:00am. Volunteers then deliver the gifts to families that afternoon. Together, we can make the season brighter for all. Email us to get involved!
