PEER LEADERSHIP

EVERY MONDAY 7-8 AT MCC

Each week students in grades 8-10 meet at Moriches Community Center. Guided by facilitators Jordan Sanders, Michael Valentine and Dylan Delong, youth discuss issues they and their peers face on a daily basis, such as bullying, substance use and peer pressure, and they brainstorm ways to create a more safe, positive and respectful school and peer climate. The facilitators stress confidentiality, guide them in role play and discussions, and offer advise regarding seeking help from school staff and others for more serious issues.

Moriches Community Center has reopened and we have missed you!
