Led by Camp Directors Debra Schaefer and Nancy Harkin, and their staff, Theater Arts Camp is a month-long camp for youth wishing to explore various aspects of theater arts. Recommended for those entering grades 3-9, campers are exposed to and experience authentic, hands-on learning in prop construction, costuming, acting, singing, choreography, and show promotion. The camp ends with a theatrical performance for family, friends, and community members.

The price of camp is $400 per camper and $300 per additional sibling.

The 2025 Theater Arts Camp will end with a showcase that includes a performance on Thursday, August 27th at 7pm.

VOLUNTEER PARENTS NEEDED: As you can imagine, putting on such a complex performance with little ones can be a daunting task! We encourage any help and/or resources parents can provide. If you wish to volunteer backstage during the performance or in any other way, please let us know!

DISCLAIMER:

Theater Arts Camp is an immersive experience that requires commitment, focus, and teamwork. Please note that older or more experienced campers may receive more roles and lines in the final performance.

Additionally, attendance at all dress and tech rehearsals during the week of the show is mandatory to participate in the final showcase on Thursday, August 27th at 7 PM.

This camp may not be suitable for all children, particularly those who may find memorization or structured performance settings challenging. We encourage families to consider these expectations before enrolling.
